Unlocking people’s creativity at TEDx Paris University
by Arthur
This week-end (October the 16th) I was speaking at TEDx Paris University with five other students and eleven professionals and this was a great experience! During this event I met amazing people and it was the first time I went on stage with such a high level requested, which made the whole experience so unique!

We -students- have been working hard for more than four months to give the best talk we could on the d-day. To help us do so, we even had a final training on Friday the 15th, on stage, and we had the great opportunity to be coached by Pierre Morsa and Phil Waknell from Ideas on Stage who gave us the exact advices we needed to hear on this day!
At the end, I had 9 minutes to talk about “Unlocking people’s creativity” which is one of the outputs of my thesis project. I shared my vision on what is design and on how I believe we can give people the opportunity to be the authors of tomorrow’s world. But instead of writing this story, I will let you watch the video once it is out (soon)…

I was also really glad that my great teacher Dominique Sciamma had the chance to go on stage ! He talked about how designers need to get rid of existing models to be able to design something different.

Finally, I want to precise that the stage was decorated by some students from my school (Quentin Blanchard, Valentin Bolla, Clément Laurenziani et Hippolyte Bachelet) and that was amazing! Have a look!

I would like to thank Alexandre Koenig, Élise Melon, Bruno de Saint-Ange and all those who built this event!
TEDx Paris University was a exceptional adventure and I hope it is just the beginning of something even greater!
